Send a Yondi
A parent or trusted person sends a respectful check-in request when it matters.
Privacy-first family check-ins
Delete Life360. Keep peace of mind.
Privacy-first family check-ins. Check in without tracking.
The moment Yondi is made for
Parents still worry.
Young adults want independence.
Always-on tracking can feel like too much.
Unanswered texts create anxiety.
The Yondi approach
A parent or trusted person sends a respectful check-in request when it matters.
The checked-on person can answer from the lock screen with “I’m OK” or “Can’t talk.”
Both sides know the check-in was not answered in time. Late responses still count.
How it works
Invite someone you trust to check in, with limits and expectations already understood.
No map, no constant updates, and no background surveillance.
A quick response gives reassurance without turning independence into a live feed.
Safety rules, snooze, daily limits, and response windows help keep check-ins respectful.
Built for real life
Yondi is not a live map or on-demand location tool.
Reply fast with “I’m OK” or “Can’t talk” from the lock screen.
Set response windows, allowed times, daily limits, and expectations.
Take space when you need it while keeping the relationship clear.
Both sides can see past check-ins, responses, and response times.
A closed window does not end the conversation. Late replies still appear.
Phone-number sign-in with SMS one-time passcodes.
People can delete their Yondi account when they are done.
Privacy-forward by design
Yondi is built around consent, response windows, and family trust. It does not use continuous location tracking, live maps, on-demand location, or location history.
Future direction
Yondi is not a live map. If location functionality is added later, it is intended to be consent-based, privacy-forward, and available only after non-response under rules pre-approved by the checked-on person. Approximate-first location is the preferred model.
